I made an image to post. I uploaded it to catbox, but poal said the link was expired (it isn't, I just made and checked it). So I tried uploading the image directly. It said it was not in an acceptable format, but it's a .jpg. I renamed the image in case the punctuation in the auto-generated name was throwing it off, but got the same error. Then I made a smaller version of the image with the improved name in case it was timing out or something. Still the error.

Is the function on poal to upload an image broken right now, and we just need to upload it to pic8 always? Because that was the second half of my issue and I'm not sure if I was clear. All the renaming and resizing stuff was after I gave up on catbox and tried to use the features on the page here.

I have now made my post using pic8, so that at least works. Thanks.

It's working.

I don't get the feeling you and I are talking about the same thing right now, so I'll try to explain.

On the page to submit a link post, one of the options for an image is to select a file from your hard drive. This specific function is what I'm asking about, because it doesn't recognize my image files that end in .jpg and tells me to use a file type such as .jpg instead. I'm wondering if that's a known issue, and if it's intermittent or broken all the time.

It's working perfectly fine.

Try to copy your image to the clipboard and paste it in the clipboard field.

Your jpg might be corrupt (but not enough to display on your computer)
