This site can’t be reachedpoal.co’s server IP address could not be found.
Try:

Checking the connection
Checking the proxy, firewall, and DNS configuration
Running Windows Network Diagnostics
ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED

I can still access poal (obviously) via IP address, but domain resolution for some reason is wonky. Not sure if this is out of your control.

Not just you... but everything seems back to normal for me at this point. It looks like it was a DNS issue. Did poal.co finally make it to the big time such that ISPs will fuck with us?

Nah, it's still giving me trouble. Did a "is it down?" website thing and it says it's up, so it might be a CDN issue; don't remember if poal uses one of those. Curious to see if anyone else is still having this problem.

poal was down for me as well over the course of several hours. I think that the problem wasn't on my side, because I checked via some is-this-site-down-service, which confirmed it.

I wasn't able to connect via domain name either over the past couple hours.

All is fine now, though

Works for me, sucks to be you.

In all honesty, I had an issue last night or this morning.

Dude the snow fall is frying my mobo. Is there a way I can turn it off?

There's a setting on your profile page.

ETA - it's literally called Disable Snow.

have you tried asking it nicely?

It's using only CSS, so it should be rendered by your GPU and consumes close to nothing. Unless your browser's engine doesn't support your GPU or HW acceleration is disabled.

yeah hw accel is disabled...thanks for responding. Laptop gets super hot. I'll change settings.

Huh works fine here on wifi and mobile. Have you tried rebooting to flush dns cache?

Did you switch to using CloudFlare? Cause now I'm finding a different IP on my phone, which is apparently a CloudFlare IP, which says it won't allow direct IP access. If so, my home ISP might just need to wait for the changes to propagate.

[–] 2 pts

No I will never use cloudflare.

Does 104.24.113.28 look familiar?

Restarted machine, installed updates. Flushed all the things: might just be my computer somehow, because I checked my phone and can use it fine. I'm on mobile data, will try wifi on phone next.

Are you using some kind of commercial grade router?

[–] 0 pt (edited )

Ran the same tool again, now I get 93.115.20.7 which takes me to a 404 page. Dafuq. Gonna reboot router.

*edit: if I stop posting altogether, the glowies got me. :p

Just checked wifi: same problem. Seems to be the landline connection that isn't able to reach the site. Weird.

That is strange, you are not caching things on your router are you?
