All the posts you will visit starting now will show a (new +1)...(new +2)... next to the comment icon when new comments are posted. The tag will automatically disappear when you'll open the comment thread and it will come again when new comments will be posted.

We know a lot of poalrs have been waiting for that feature and it took some time and lots of coffee to get it debugged and optimized, and as usual, if you notice something funny, just let us know in the comments. (We know it doesn't fully work on endless scrolling and we'll push an update later on).

I don't know the ins and outs but it showed a comment I made as new in the total. if there's a way to remove posts the user made specifically as a reply that would be awesome.

I've noticed that too. If you refresh the post before going back to /all, the tag will not show up for your own new comment. It's cached, so the only way is to force a reload, but that defeats the purpose of posting comments without reloading. :P

So if you comment and someone replies and you click your inbox instead of the comments section then go back to browsing the new keeps flashing until you click the comments again.

That's normal, it's cached by your browser, so when you click the comment icon, the code will flag the post as read and the (new +...) will go away until new comments are posted.

I meant a per-subverse feed which contains both posts and comments.

My idea came from the /comments subpage on Reddit/Saidit, which lists recent comments.

YouTube channels also once had a /feed subpage; removed too.

We could do that in the sub's sidebar (top/recent 5 comments).

I've just updated the (new +) visual feedback to make it easier to spot.
