When choosing an option from the suggestions presented when typing in the sub field the result is not what I select. When I choose 'Poaldev" from the options the field is filled with randomness. In limeted tests I've gotten "OK", "2007scape", and "12". It appears to be affected by page refresh.

Android 9 kernel 4.9.122 / duckduckgo 56900.

Tried to clear your browser's cache?

The normal behavior should be: when the field is empty the list is ordered in an alphabetical order (numbers first).

The more you'll complete a name your'e searching the more the list will narrow down to more accurate/related subs.

Try with poal: type p, then o, then a... you'll see the results getting more accurate.

That is what I experience however, when I make a partial input, ex: "Poald", and the tap the suggestion "Poaldev" the field is filled with "12".

I'll clear my cache & retort back.

Update:

Cleared the cache in duckduckgo browser and got the same result.

Tested Chrome mobile & got the same result.

Tested Firefox & can't report as datalist is not supported.

That's odd. I'll take a look at it later.

Try to log in Private/Incognito mode and see if you still get that issue.

After further testing I can say that this is not an issue with poal. I don't know if it's my device or the latest round of chromium browsers but, I get the same result on my local server.
