Now that I know what it is, it's alright. I like the simple ui change.

If poalrs like it, we could make it permanent and add new colors/options according to you guys feedback.
This gives me some ideas, my friend.
Non-default subs you are subscribed to could also have their own color too. That way it would be easy to spot and discover new subs in /all.
Is it like a psychological thing to get users to use default subs more often?
It depends. I personally see it more like a way to look/focus at the posts that don't have the border.
That feature could be inverted and used to only highlight non-default subs.
It's interesting either way. Just reminds me of all the comments I've gotten from new users b/c I "doxxed their downvote" and how that's "not cool" b/c they never bothered to read the site FAQ etc lol. I could see this becoming a recurring question posted by new users. Who knows though, maybe they'll just figure it out as it's pretty obvious.
If we make it permanent, we'll update the welcome/userguide page.

Sub created by users aren't default/system subs.

Why are the colors showing up when I'm on a specific sub? Do I need every post green on the side to show I'm subbed?
The flair says "Beta Test" for a reason. I haven't added the code to disable itself when inside a sub.
