I've tried to post image directly via the integrated stuff, and was told, that it's not an image.

After trying to post the link I've mentioned above, it says: "Error: the link is broken, has expired or timed out (try again), or image is invalid"

Seems like there's a bug in the thumbnail generator.

I've just managed to upload the image in question just as another one and bow my head in front of your astonishing wisdom. You were right and I was wrong. Maybe the error message could be improved, but the but for the image upload appears to have been on my side, and the problem with the link was my wrong intuition.

If you have an issue with poal's image upload, always try to upload the same image on pic8.co and check the link I mentioned in my previous comment to see if how old is the most recent image link posts and if they missing their thumbnails.
