and then implementing these CSS properties:

I get and .

Aha. I think I might have found the piece of code that stops custom CSS properties. https://github.com/Kozea/tinycss/blob/a14535a5cd344329403795ec19929c3d2593499f/tinycss/decoding.py#L63
