Hi poalrs!

We've received multiple requests to improve the default miniplayer that was using Joogle API (meh).

So we've been secretly working on an alternative to replace it, and the time has come to unleash it.

It currently supports all links to:

  • Jootube

  • Invidious

  • Hooktube

  • Vimeo

  • all direct links to .mp4, .ogv and .webm video files

(.ogv and .webm aren't supported by crApple Safari)

Support for more domains and formats are also planned.

If you own/mod a sub you can enable it in the sub settings.

Check out to see it in action.

As usual, if you notice something funny with this new miniplayer, leave a comment here.

That's an interesting idea. I'm pretty sure I could setup some kind of "add to playlist" button for video posts to add them to user's new playlist page.

I'll see what I can do.

Very nice, not quite what I had envisioned but a great feature. Thanks for your work.
