Haha, I just saw an "around the monitor cork board overlay" at a thrift store. It was for 19 inch monitors however. Even came with pins and a notepad.

No, it will be there next weekend. I should just grab it. My 15 inch trinitron on my 3000 is starting to look small. Perhaps I should upgrade to a 19'' just to rock the corkboard with level codes and workbench shortcut reminders all over it.
post-its can be read, or drop behind things and never seen again. Actively remembering them keep them fresh.
Yes. But the trouble is finding them once placed, since they tend to blend in with the aged plastic.
Retrobrighting, to the rescue!
I've retrobrighted my Mac SE case/mouse/keyboard/external drive, and Apple IIGS keyboard.. they all turned out fairly well. The Mac case was particularly bad, it took several tries over a few days. Had a blacklight and mirrors to work with. Next time I'll wait until summer and do it in the sun.
