You can now sticky comments in posts submitted in your subs.

There's no limitation on how many comments you can sticky per thread.

A new 'stick' and 'unstick' button will show under every root comment.

Sub owners could have an option to allow or not allow OP's to sticky comments, and could override and unsticky stickies they don't like.

What about the other way around? OP can PM sub owners/mods and ask them to sticky a comment.

It adds a step having to write a PM, it would be easier just to have a button. How about 4 options the sub owner can set on their sub:

  1. OP cannot sticky.
  2. OP can click a button to send a request notification to mods, and mods approve it with one click to sticky the comment.
  3. OP can click a button to sticky, and a notification is sent to mods, who can then decide to ignore it or unsticky with one click.
  4. OP can click a button to sticky, and no notification is sent to mods.

That's actually a good idea, but it could be abused by trolls, @boobs and I will discuss about it.

The comment sticky is a new feature and it could evolve in the future if enough mods from active subs are requesting it.
