You know The Poalcast was one of my favorite things about Poal. Something I would look forward to every week. It was the time I got to have a conversation with my friend and everyone who wanted to could listen in. Of course it wasn't just a conversation with the two of us most of the time, many of you fuckers have joined us over the past 3 years. Lots of different kinds of people living radically different lives some times. But what brought us in was a desire for honest and open conversation, free speech with no compromises. Thats what brought us but what held us together was Pmyb2. It was always amazing to me before the cast would start I'd hop on mumble to find 5 or 6 people just kind if hanging out, making small talk, not really saying a ton. Then boobs would hop on and it was like he fliped a switch. Something about him made you want to talk, made you want to laugh, made the conversation flow. It wasnt that they all just wanted to talk to him, but that he just had this way about him that made everyone kind of just open up. It was a fun place, lots of opinions and facts and arguments and jokes, and quite a bit of drinking. It was really fun. The poalcast has been over for a while now. We managed to do a few sporadically over the last year but the consistency of the first 2 years was over. I know Boobs missed doing them, I missed doing them. Life just kind of moved and it never really worked, but I figured the conversation would continue eventually. The last month has been hard. Hard on his family most of all but its been hard for a lot of his close friends too. Its been hard for me. A few times I've gone back to some of our old casts just to count how many times he would say "hold the bus". Im not ready for the conversation to be over, but it is at least for now. I miss my buddy. The poalcast may be done but poal is still here. We still have a place for all the retarded thoughts in our heads, a place to discuss and joke and a place for free speech, no compromises. So with that I'll leave you with PMYB2 favorite sign off.
