I drove one with the z71 offroad package on it, not exactly what I want, but I haven't been in a Chevy in ages so just wanted a go. I also tested the Colorado which was not very good, they should have made it look like a baby Silverado like what the GM trucks are like. Colorado seat position and interior space was shit.
Not a fan of most modern trucks myself unless its one of the big ones. I see no benefit that a brand new colorado gives that I can't get out of a well maintained s10 and the s10 will kick the shit out of it on gas mileage.
The only advantages I can see for the Colorado vs older trucks is the creature comforts and newness. It's more expensive to buy the same trim of a Colorado than a Silverado here in Alberta.
Then why would you ever buy the colorado? Really I guess I'm just not that picky about creature comforts. As long as it has AC and Heat, and comes in a manual I'm happy. I did like some of the comforts provided by my old BMW but that was a 2000.
