Isn't it interesting that a group of people will protest to other members of the general public to give them permission to be free? This sounds like an excerpt from Protocol 11:
The GOYIM are a flock of sheep, and we are their wolves. And you know what happens when the wolves get hold of the flock? There is another reason also why they will close their eyes: for we shall keep promising them to give back all the liberties we have taken away as soon as we have quelled the enemies of peace and tamed all parties. It is not worth to say anything about how long a time they will be kept waiting for this return of their liberties.
Then, in Protocol 12, it says:
The word "freedom," which can be interpreted in various ways, is defined by us as follows: Freedom is the right to do what which the law allows. This interpretation of the word will at the proper time be of service to us, because all freedom will thus be in our hands, since the laws will abolish or create only that which is desirable for us according to the aforesaid program.
Not to be demoralizing as there is a stronger option. Don't beg for permission of liberty or fairness which was already in the mainstream. This just gives traitors the permission to take them and negotiate them back to you. It is the despots who must be placed in a situation where they must beg for their liberty and fairness. Kind of how one seeks parole after serving at least a portion of penance of a convicted crime. This should be the way of things and if the people truly are free it should be the way of transfer. The lack of freedom is in the minds of the people that think they have to protest.
A more reasonable protest would be to just carry on and not bother complaining about it. Shun businesses and people that would try to enforce such lack of freedom. It will get dirty but will hurt much less than how this kind of system is ratcheting.
