Everyone I know who ever owned an old Dodge says they suck. In my experience, however, an old Chevy just will not die. Yes you'll have to replace this and that(starter, water pump, etc ...), but the engine just keeps going. edit: obviously, your problem wasn't mechanical, but .... just sayin'
