Nigger squirrel invasion.
I've seen more melanistic squirrels this winter than ever before. At my daughter and son in law's place 40 miles from here, nearly all the squirrels are darkies.

Lots of grays here in southern Maine. I've never seen a black squirrel, just little black flying squirrels.
