Crazy thing is, when I was in school, they told us the fairy tale that this was all eroded over millions of years by small streams and wind.
Nope. It was all exposed about 12.5K years ago, at the end of the Younger Dryas. There was an ice wall thousands of feet deep, with a giant ocean of melt water under the glaciers at the end of the ice ace. It broke open at once somewhere around Montana, and the water rose 100 feet in less than a week and stayed that way for a month. Everything (including the Grand Canyon) was all scoured out in about three months.
Think maybe that's something that stays in your oral history (if you are one of the ones that survive it)?
that was when the earth hit a warm state during a current iceage. supposely we are only 15k into a 26k iceage so who knows. utah moab area was a rver under a ocean at one time. atleast when dinos roamed and its said the slot canyons and moab which maybe dinos died off at being of our iceage and maybe a few survived being down in meso america and such considering mayans or aztecs have depictions of them riding dinos.
thoths tablets were supposely hidden under the temple in yucatan mexico. it was the emerald tablets look them up. supposely egyptians priest took them there to hide them when thoth went into halls of amenti.
