That's a beautifully sad picture.
Decay is striking because it evokes images of grandeur and human activity of the past. Africa is regressing into its pre colonial past. The whites have left and their artifacts remain, leaving Africa with reminders of its history. Hundreds of years from now, buildings like this will simply become like the Giza pyramids where noone has any idea of what it was. The tracks will be a mystery. The past will be totally forgotten. The decay is striking.
