When my now 26 year old daughter was 5 or 6 years old, one of the neighbors was giving out pencils, which I thought was great, but when your little girl looks into her Halloween bag of candy and says, “They gave me a PENCIL!”, it’s kinda priceless.
Buttons, cotton balls, dental floss, twist ties, etc. are all good options. Can’t really do much damage with those.
