We used to have a fountain, but idiots kept putting soap in it until it had to eventually be torn down. Can't have anything nice. People have no idea the nightmare that is to cleanup in order to get of all that crap out, and how it ruins the pump and filter.

I did something similar once in a hotels pool area. I put dish soap in the air jets of the Jacuzzi.

That old trick. I worked at a bowling alley in the 80’s that stocked dozens of 55 gallon drums of Zep laundry detergent. Us lane attendants skimmed the stock until we had 10 five gallon bucket loads. An accomplice that worked in the mall food court let us in a service door after hours and we dumped it all into a mall fountain with a waterfall that churned it up real good. It made a bigger mess than what we expected. Got on the news even. We were bored.
