Dogs only sweat out of their noses and it’s their primary way to cool down. This is dog abuse plain and simple, I neoyorquino argue that pushing them around in the stroller is too but that’s a different discussion for a different day. I swear though, the amount of women who have dogs as a placeholder for their lack of kids is a bog problem for dogs. They all end up a mess.

I work with a person like this and I make sure to laugh every time I hear them talk about their dog “child” in a manner that over-humanizes them. I’m talking doggy day care, nannies, haircuts, clothes, jackets, Easter egg hunts... I love dogs, but this shit is pathetic and deserves to be ostracized. Dogs just need to be treated like dogs, not human children.
