It's not even the physical-ness of it, you're working on ice, one slip away from almost instant hypothermia and a watery death. But if you're beating-to in a storm and one side of the boat ices up and you start listing, it just cascades. So you get out there and fucking whack it off the rigging. These guys are in a pretty good sitch.
