Creepy

Yeah. It's creepy. But not nearly as disgusting an creepy as all the demon possessed naked trash that have taken it over now!

From what I can tell nowadays it is a celebration of drug filled, drunkenness, lewd and perverted, sexual debauchery!

Not really something worth celebrating.

I was stationed in Biloxi years ago, attended my one and only Mardi Gras, that degenerate shit has been going on for a long, long time. I can’t even imagine what happens today?!

But I don't see anyone naked or puking?

They used to make plastic doubloons printed with mardi gras images that they would give out instead of the necklaces that they use now-i think-. Wonder if they still do.

Grew up in New Orleans and went to Mardi Gras parades with my parents as a child. There were always plastic necklaces, small plastic toys and doubloon "throws" tossed from the floats. Doubloons were the prized item because there were fewer of them and they were hard to catch compared to necklaces. I still have a few in a box somewhere. Was a family environment back then with many elaborate costumes and no flashing tits in the crowd. All white crowds except for the . As society has degenerated, so has Mardi Gras.

Interesting to hear. I was very young and don't remember much of the one times my parents took me. Dad must have secured the doubloons, as I had a whole chest of them growing-up.
