I dont trust people who are comfortable in institutional style buildings. I dont trust people who dont think "boy this smells just like prison" when they see painted cinder blocks. It's not that I think they are traitors, it bothers me that they dont seem to notice at all.
We talk a lot about the degenerative effect of forcibly modifying cultures. I've come to believe a large part of our culture revolved around 'reasonable comforts', in leui of rampant hedonism, but also feel some part of it must also outwardly reject sterile environments. IDK how to justify that, might just be a feel.
