I've been there.
What they don't tell you is 2 things.
The first few rows up are littered with graffiti. Being pretty disappointed, I added my own initials, which are still there. Carved into the rock.
Also, Cairo is like Tijuana, with some pyramids In the middle. It isn't in the middle of the desert, except for from one angle. Find the angle that shows they have no trash pick up and just use he Nile as their dumpsters.
Thousands of years from now, people will see your carved initials and think to themselves: "I wonder who that faggot was?"

yup me too when i was younger and the thing about the nile is sadly true too.. Lots of little branches of it run off through the cities and stuff and they literally dump everything in there, the same as Indians with the ganges river. Getting my Da to go through our albums back home coz there's plenty we took of the rubbish in the nile (though the main stretches are mostly rubbish free once you head to upper egypt (south), but for now bit blurry sorry
What they don't tell you is that hundreds of pushy mofos will be tugging at you, screeching 'BAKSHEESH!'...and the flies...the FLIES!!!
This was also one of the main complaints of the tank korps in WW2. Flies everywhere. Dead bodies definitely didn't help.

a lot of them are also perverts, especially the vendors near the pyramids.
You forgot to mention all the shitty fast-food chains across the street that smells like a sewer.
I mistakenly purchased a meal from a Burger King in Cairo. Would not recommend.
Even with something as strict as a franchise standard they can't keep it up.
