Ok, so it is not just me. I feel like it is a joke and they just dismiss all UI design work and research done by Xerox and Sun in the 80s and just designed everything in powerpoint with drunk monkeys that have a pharmaceutical problem as well.
Did they even do UI design work? Its my opinion that they are trying to be everyone's IT bitch by making it so convoluted we have to call them to fix it.
Long read through, worth it though. The funniest thing is it is all believable.
They are doing that with Office 365. They moved message trace from the Exchange Admin Center, to Security and Compliance and it is the most frustrating thing to use now as it is slow, and you can't enter the email address and then click search because it blanks out the field for some damn reason. The best way to use it now is to enter the name/address and then wait for the search to figure out if it is internal or not. Office 365 is the most worthless piece of shit product that Micro$oft sells currently. They are taking things that took at most a few minutes and now takes upwards of 5 minutes if you are lucky.
Currently, I'm chasing a 550 5.1.10 RESOLVER.ADR.RecipientNotFound error for an e-mail address that exists but one of their servers says, "No, this address doesn't exist."
There's another part that they pushed out to Office 365 users meant to lesson phishing and other attacks, and it is completely reactionary in nature which is 180 degrees opposite of how it was presented.
