If you frame it as an issue of culture(which is the real issue with the jews) you can much more easily attack the problem where people will try to label you as _____. The problem with the Jewish people is that their culture is held up by the teachings in the Talmud in which non jews are allowed to be treated poorly and raped/killed/etc. This culture has bled into even non religious jews.
