Soon to be an offical mosque.
Muds are already praying in churches and the police is taking some time out their day to put plastic cover on a bomb dogs paws during a raid on a mosque.
What I am saying is I want to see the rug that comes in.

I went to confession there, it is actually a very young church and its interior decoration feels quite spare.
A lot will have to change before the Germans have the will to finish it up right. Probably a few hundred years out.
The interior was probably stripped of all sacred imagery after the liturgy reforms following Vatican II.
Do you think so? I believe it was only complete in the late 1800s. There was decor, it just felt like it could have been improved. Doesn't feel totally finished the way a real ancient church does.
Almost all churches were intentionally stripped of sacred imagery, especially the high altars, after Vatican II. What justification they think they have for such a move I don't know.
