JK. What f'd up your knee though? I dislocated mine as an early teenager. Fell out of a tree but my foot got stuck in a branch V. Took about 6 years for it not to feel loose. Still not a fan of running or sudden twisting jerking movements.

Like you I hurt it young. I twisted it playing football and it was never the same. Other joints are showing signs of osteoarthritis. Combination of the two I think. This day 4 after surgery. Had it done last wed and it already feels better than it did before the surgery. Good luck with yours my friend.

I am almost at my three year TKR anniversary. While it's much better than it was before, rainy humid days still suck.
Wean yourself from the meds as soon as you can and listen to your physical therapy coach.

I've had seven knee surgeries including the TKR. Two ankle surgeries, one wrist surgery, and a plate in my ribcage.

At this point I think selling my body to the scrap recycler is the fams most lucrative option. :)
I joke but compared to the rest of modern medicine ortho doctors are doing some amazing work. Psych is still in its stone age. Ortho put me back on my feet.
