It’s the perfect crime for broadcasting a prepared script under the guise of the “world’s smartest man” and only participating in preplanned, prescripted interviews, under the pretense that it takes him a long time to say a few words.
He was definitely a celebrity. He never made top 100 amongst his peers.
Not dead in 2018. They just ended the program. That actor retired or got reassigned. The real Hawking died pretty early on, but he was working for Intelligence too and probably helped rehearse his replacement as he waned.
