American Lotus is my guess. They are fairly common around here.

I didn't have my macro lens on at the time. This was taken using my Nikon 200-500mm f/5.6E as I was out for birds. In retrospect I wish I had taken the time to get a nice focus stacked exposure of it using my macro lens.

I had been wanting a nice camera for while and finally convinced myself to just go ahead and buy one about a year ago. It has been an expensive hobby, but I'm really enjoying it. After getting this telephoto lens I think I'm done spending on it for awhile!
