Intentionally downgraded from a smartphone. I liked my last phone but I didn't like what I was reading about where tech was going with Google and smart phones in general.
If a 'clean' OS for a smart phone were developed, with no tracking features, I might be tempted to go back to a smart phone. Maybe Blackberry.
Sadly, on January 11, Let'sEncrypt (HTTPS provider) will disable a cipher causing compatibility problems with basically all smartphones from the replaceable battery era.

I don't use smart phones for internet anyway.
The only thing I really use my phone for these days is the MP3 player.
I tend to more meet with people or do work than have a socially half-assed connected life.
