For example car repair information in case of failure. (If help over PMR446 was available, that would be cool.)

Or weather information, or GPS navigation (although dedicated navigations systems can do that).

Or photography when you forgot your dedicated camera at home.

Who the fuck care so much about weather? There's a reason I have a memory longer than 30 seconds. I can flip the weather channel/website on in the morning and see what the best guesses are.

GPS navigation usually is more convenient.

The mobile phone is something like an all-in-one toolbox. One never knows when something will be necessary.
