You shouldn't need a religious exemption to refuse to take a shot or bake a cake.

You shouldn't need to have the right justification to hire someone, fire someone, offer services to someone, or withhold the offer of services from someone.

You shouldn't have to have any reason to do anything you want to do with that which is yours, the fact that it is your body, your property, your business, or the organization that you own, is all the justification you need to do as you please with it.

That's what it should mean when you say that something is yours, that you have full control over what happens with it.

Now imagine a system where crony capitalism has taken hold and mega corporations with legislative capture engage in unlawful predatory behavior completely fearless of legal consequence then see if you can't find the flaw in your logic.

I see no flaws in my logic, because there is none, and under my system that wouldn't happen.

You have a very distorted view of what capitalism is and how we ended up in this mess.

You're totally right of course, nothing like what I described could ever possible happen.

It's comforting to know we live in a world where smart people like you can solve problems that have plagued humanity for millennia from the comfort of their living room using their vast knowledge obtained via the internet.

Thank you for your service.

We literally can, all it takes is a willingness to let go of dogma and other deeply held beliefs.

Set a goal that you can measure the merit of your solutions by, and figure out the solutions from a rational assessment of the evidence and arguments using science and logic.

The problem is not that people try to do this and fail, but that those willing to do this are disempowered by those who aren't or those who are, but are working for different goal to yours.

As well, all the obstacles to simply figuring out the solution and implementing them, chief of which is the stranglehold of beurocracy and the demagoguery of democracy, which keeps bad ideas that seem good with an edge over good ones that seem bad.

Regardless of how you judge what the right answers are, the answers are quite apparent and easily found, if you only know how to learn and think about what you've learned.
