Not sure what will happen to the livestock but as long as it’s fully cooked it should be safe to eat since mRna has to be stored at well below zero.

You are approaching this from a "your body won't absorb mRNA" rather than a "you are eating an animal that was genetically manipulated to produce a bioactive prion like protein that may survive cook temps"

Mistakes happen all the time, at some point TPTB will get the wrong meat served to them, I don’t believe they’d take that risk.
