Mental manipulation sure.. but "willfully shot himself".. thats still suicide.. not forced. Maybe if the guy threatened to kill the loved ones of his pedo friend.. that would be employing duress and/or coercion.. both of which are technically speaking, elements of force. The 'victim' in this senario is still technically choosing to sacrifice his life to save his family under a perceived threat. I'm sure a judge would rule that the pedophile was forced.
