Why does Ron DeSantis allow NUDE BEACHES at publicly-funded state parks in Florida, where naked adults can run around with naked children of ANY age? Kinda strange for a guy who claims to be so concerned about “protecting kids.”
Just a thought: Maybe the state’s ban on drag shows that allow children to attend was NOT really about “protecting kids” after all.

If I remember correctly, early on he tried to close nude beaches but the legislature didn't go along with it. I think he gave up. He'd only have influence on state parks, anyway. There was also talk about changing the rules for them to not allow anyone under age 18, even with adult supervision. Not sure what happened there.

Well he can stop funding to the park. That's 100% within his power. "Lose the nude beach or stay closed forever." Public parks are no place for nude beaches anyway. Period!

He could draft an exective order. Which, in Florida, does not require legislative approval but instead is bound by the Administrative Procedure Act.
He has lots of options. His inaction proves he's an enabler.
Nudist areas are always free for any age in Germany. Nobody here believes that children must be protected from seeing naked adults. There was a discussion in the 3rd Reich if nudism (Freikörperkultur, "free body culture") is degenerated or healthy - the health faction won.
