One of my female peers has a few beautiful children and a job. She pays more than 2k per child, per month, for this type of care.
It's insane. She pays a second mortgage worth of bills in childcare so she can go to work to pay the childcare bill. At the childcare facility (government controlled) they are exposed to hazards like this.
How much does it really cost to take a few years off? Take a few years off to raise your children yourself, to keep them away from this danger, to keep your young family healthy and well rounded? Does she actually think that paying more money protects her children from bad hiring decisions?
