This indivual used seekingarrangement.com and the girls were using this site, themselves, to advertise their services. They did not tell him they were underage. One girl became frustrated when she got an STD from the lawyer, which means they were going bareback... not smart for sex workers.
The girls had sex in exchange for money and gifts and they were taking fairly standard rates... $500 to $1000.
He's not a great guy. I suspect he figured out they were underage, but he did not go out of his way, as far as I could tell, to seek underage girls.
He hired what seemed to be adult girls and was doing this for a long time after the girls were 18.
If he was sex trafficking minors he was well aware of their age because he booked the flights.

I'm not advocating for the guy as much as I'm shocked about seekingarrangement.com allowing underage girls. It's something I'm actively looking into because there's a lawsuit there and money to be made while also serving some justice.

Legally, I could see arguments to save him but I don't believe he didn't know their age. Being a lawyer, he probably new a lot of the lines to skirt.
I don't mind the trafficking charge against him I just don't see one guy screwing borderline age girls as a trafficker. He's not selling them to anyone.
A guilty verdict would he great, but you can see why the DoJ has a bigger fish to fry that they are ignoring. The source is the problem.
This publication also isn't specific as to how the minors accounts weren't created and utilized. How do we know they weren't being pimped against there will. There is a reason this guy was paying big bucks. I don't believe he was filming the encounters, just to make normal porn, nowadays no one would pay for this, its free everywhere. This was most likely where he was making those big bucks but thats just speculation.
