I agree. They take these damn 'protective' laws way too far, mainly just to justify their own jobs. In the meantime kids who really need help are given back to parents who shouldn't have them at all, while decent families are hunted. It's all BS. We need CPS, but we need one with a brain.
It’s like asking for government as a whole with a brain I don’t see how you do that when any idiot can run for office and vote. I’m all for democracy but it needs tweaks to prevent it from being a race to the bottom.
You're right. The biggest problem I've seen over the years being a boomer, is that year after year, new guys get elected and every swinging dick has their own set of new laws they push on all ... most to fix some non-existent problem. They just stack up one on another until we get to where we are now. The problem is though that laws don't do a damn thing in most cases ... what's wrong is society itself and you can't change that with new laws. Instead you just make everyone a criminal.
If we would smart, we'd start to elect only folks who promise to take laws off the books, not add a bunch of new ones.
You are probably right, I’m technically part of the mellineials and most of my generation honestly doesn’t care they don’t vote they don’t keep up with what’s going on and the ones that do are almost all left wing because they swallow the propaganda. These people end up very unhappy because they missed the most basic part of life that’s get married have kids it’ll give your life some purpose and you’ll care what happens to the world. I think collectively Americans need to get their heads out of their asses and vote for people who are not politicians but experts in fields related to the office they want, the countries commitie on technology should be run by people who know tech not business men and lawyers. Yet business men and lawyers run literally everything. Why not have doctors legislate things related to healthcare and on and on. It’s asinine that some guy who was a judge is now trying to talk about abortion terms, or anything else other than being a judge. I’m rambling at this point but I think you probably get my idea at least.
