This is 100% true if they can get away with it. I had a Indian manager get hired.. The next several hires were ONLY indian and they sucked so bad at their job's they had to be fired. They replaced them with more indians that sucked at their job and were fired.

Eventually they had the rest of the team help with hiring, not one indian was hired but some people that were hired did not work out and were fired (multiple racial groups). Then the (indian) manager was fired and now the team is doing much better.

Totally true. I've worked in tech for a long time and have seen this too many times to count.

In fact, I watched a small company get jeeted right out of existence. They started hiring jeets in about 2010 and shortly thereafter were going down hill fast. The company folded not long after. Thankfully I'd seen the light and made my jump before the fall.

Every time a jeet changed something in our data stack, I had to go and fix it. Every single time.
