Not a lot changes in my world, and that's not so bad. As long as the music is playing the world is a great place. Buddha is doing better, able to walk a little and is back to doing shows. You have been missed at the Friday Night Guitar thread. We're still interested in your progress, so consider letting us hear you again. I know life gets busy, and there's a lot more important things to attend to, but when you get the chance, stop by.
I'm pretty torn about going back to voat right now, I'll probably get over it eventually. However I still pick up the guitar at least once a week. Between new baby work and new business, I'm putting in about 150 hours per week on work and I manage an hour or so for practice. However If things go well I'll have a lot more time after another month or two. Also baby does not want to let me sleep at night, I tried reasoning with him but he was having none of it.
Is still around? Is he Okay? I know he got in that accident and he was healing up well, is he still okay?
I can understand about Voat, but the thread is the one place that makes it bearable. In fact, Putt said he would make it a global sticky starting this week. It's the one post that is about the things we love and not the things people hate. It is a rarity indeed.
Of course, your family will always come first, as it should. Believe me, later on the best times are when you sit up with the kid late at night. But it's only great later, looking back. Life is long.
Buddha is doing well. He's getting a lot better due to his dedication of doing his physical therapy. He's excitedly buying a really fancy new car and driving again. EH is always showing how much better she continues to progress. Crazy_eyes is, well, crazy as always. He, Christopher, and Verle are always the party we all want to be at, but maybe a little scared of.
So with all that, you are well remembered and will always be most welcome to hear from, when time permits.
Well man I am glad to hear that, I hope putt does it. My voat hiatus is about the trad wives community, don't meet your heroes I guess. My wife and I really latched on to that and its done a lot of good in our lives, I was just really disappointed, I'm not saying I behaved perfectly I didn't but man I was just disappointed. Really hit a nerve if you know what I mean.
I really hope puttitout does that, it would be really great for the free speech community for something that positive to be on the front page. Shit if you guys did it here too I would not hesitate for a second to make it a global announcement. Not that I am asking you too, I'm just saying he should do it.
Family is great, I would not trade my kids for anything even with the amount of pain in the ass my oldest is. And she is. Still would not trade her for anything. I Just wish they would let me practice just a little bit more.It'll happen eventually. I just have to be patient.
Man Crazy_Eyes, I often wonder if he got his car fixed, I tried to help him out with that. EH I know she is doing well I don't even need to ask. I'm sure she will be a rock star someday.
Maybe just maybe I'll get to stop by tomorrow, I supposedly have friday night off, but my bet is I'll be stuck either studying for my exam or covering someone's shift, or fixing a car. Currently my bet is on fixing a car. I left work at 10PM and I'm back in at 7AM and after that I have to go to the shop and fix the mini van. It needs a head.
If got the car he told me he was going to get, he needs to make a trip out to my state and let me take it for a spin. I could use a breather and driving something awesome would for sure count.
Forgive my rambling. If I can get the head on the van before the weekend is out I'll try and record something to post.
