Mad Dogs And Englishmen is one of the benchmark albums of the 60s, and definitely the high point of Cocker's career. And what a high point. Sadly between the booze and and the smoking, though he lived a surprisingly long life, it was pretty much just a long decline. There's a recording of his last concert from about 6 months before he died; it's more sad than anything.
