Hard to phrase this, but bear with me.

Living in the US, and occasionally I think about what other countries I would travel to if I had the money and ambition to do so.

Realistically though, I have a hard time justifying leaving the US. Sure, I have some interest in European history and places of interest, but other than that I can find all sorts of adventure here. If I wanted to explore different cultures and civilizations, they're already here. If I want a change of scenery or terrain, I can find what I'm looking for. If I want to be left the hell alone, I can make it happen (though I may go through hell to do so).

Damn near inifinite possibilities, and I don't even need a passport.

Why leave?

Why leave?

You answered your own question.
Yes, there is A LOT to explore in the US. I've been to 46 states so far and have only scratched the surface. Still, it's nothing like seeing Amsterdam, or Prague, or Vienna, or Reykjavík, or a hundred other places in person.

Right. But aside from historical sites in Europe, I wouldn't care to visit Europe at all I don't think. And it seems like much of Europe's glory is lost to nigger-ocracy anyway (America too, but I'm already here).

Keep in mind that you and I don't own the mean of international travel. If you leave the US there i no guarantee you can get back.

Just one more reason to remain 😂

Yea, it's scary to leave home. You might not make it back.

OK. If you set aside history, I see your point. My wife and I used to alternate every year between a vacation abroad and a vacation here in the States. For the past three years (partially due to Covid lock-downs) we've been staying here. I think this tear we might be doing another road trip out west. There is so much beauty to see in the US it's impossible to see it all.

I think I've only been to and through 25 states in my lifetime. And I still would rather keep revisiting western South Dakota. Paradise.
