My take is that evolution produces different reproductive strategies dependant on geographical location, these then create sets of values which then lead to political structures to codify social values.

I get what you mean though, but regardless of what your framework of interpretation/reading grid is regarding the left right paradigm, invariably, there's always that thing called communism at the far left. National socialism for instance, often happens to be placed on the opposite side, on the far right, while it technically could also be put on the left side of the spectrum too, if you have a libertarian perspective on the matter for instance
