Another way to think about it would be to think where we would be if Hillary won. Before 2016, most of us were not even aware of how to think about the problem, we just had the feeling something was wrong.

We did not get much of what we wanted and we are now on hyper drive toward destruction, but, now we can see the whole mechanism and all the moving parts.

We know how it works and should be able to propose a range of solutions and estimates of time and resources required to fix things, for various values of fix I guess.

The critiques of Trump are valid, but it was a light that we needed to see how big the problem is.
