You consider it a good journalism because it covers something you want to hear about in a way thats pleasing to you and that confirms the opinions you yourself already had. If 60 minutes negatively covered something you liked and put your trust in, no amount of investigative journalism and evidence would change your opinion. Sure CCP is garbage and just like every entity with power they are trying to increase that power. I am not going against that claim and i will believe mostly anything bad I´ll hear about them and their spies overseas. That doesnt change the fact 60 seconds is a mainstream program on CBS and therefore is nothing but propaganda. They let you see it because its safe to see it and because it doesnt go against the narrative. Everyone knows CCP is shit, everyone knows they are shady, everyone knows its safe to cover them negatively and even democrats who are used by them or straight up collude with them will tell the public CCP is shady, thats how ok it is to say it. Will 60 seconds do a segment on pedophilia and satanism within democratic party? On black on white violence? No. Because that would actually take guts, that would be going against the establishment, that would be showing the masses something they dont already know. That would be journalism. And just to address your doctor analogy. Doctors are humans like everyone else, which makes 80% of them completely useless zombies who run on autopilot most of the time and have few generic answers for any pain, wound or ailment they´ve been using ever since they left school and forgot everything else but the few lines they need every day. Like in any field, there are very few experts, some idiots and ton of mediocrity. So yeah, you might as well diagnose and treat yourself if its not lethal and if it is, you can only pray you ll get a doctor who knows his shit and actually gives a shit, the odds are not in your favor. Unless you are rich and can afford to pick a verified expert in his field...
