Each weekend OAG holds an Open Discussion for you to partake in, that covers a wide variety of topics. That’s right, the fourth and final Open Discussion for December of 2020 (and the whole 2020 in general) is here, and it allows you to discuss movies, conventions, TV shows, comic books, anime and, of course, video games without any penalties or conversations being moved.

Every Saturday brings a new Open Discussion, and each time a new entry pops up, it means that whatever is on your mind can be freely displayed for the public to see; whether it be related to video games or other mediums. Furthermore, if you happen to stray off topic and wish to bring something unrelated to the table, you are more than welcome to do so.

If sharing your passion, past experiences or knowledge about video games is your thing, the Open Discussion series is a place that accepts this and also various other discussions outside of video game topics, as well. The purpose behind this series on OAG is to give you the opportunity to post up anything related or unrelated to the subject that is being discussed.

Just like any other post on this Poal sub, any and all gamer comments and discussions will be approved and you will not face any form of censorship or restrictions on free speech whatsoever. However, the OAG community mods reserve the right to ban any NiggerFaggotKikes™ that continually engage in spam, fed-posting, doxxing and various forms of topic dilution. BLM Soy Cucks and SJW Feminist Whores are not welcome, and the same goes for JIDF / Shin Bet Shills.

As for this week’s Open Discussion topic, it is about the usual (((current year))) stuff such as the fall of western civilization, the ever increasing control and penetration of every conceivable medium and hobby by the cultural marxism and ultra woke neo-liberalism, the main One Angry Gamer website dying / selling out, as well as global suppression of free speech and thought, covid-19 lockdowns, censorship and deplatforming on the internet, the release of CyberPunk 2077, the death of Voat, the upcoming holiday season, various riots and civil unrests taking place all around the northern hemisphere and also anything else you feel is worth sharing and discussing.

Remember, you don’t have to take part in this week’s Open Discussion and you are free to change the subject whenever you want. Also, if it so happens that Saturday has not yet arrived in your local time-zone, kindly keep that little nugget of wisdom to yourself and don't cry about it. We don't care. Above all, be sure to have a great weekend. A special thanks goes out to our new Poal "landlords"... Thanks for having us!

This week’s music is Alannah Myles - Black Velvet (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tT4d1LQy4es)

Today I just want to post a thank you to everyone keeping alive the spirit of OAG. We are live proof that there's no freedom of speech anymore. And every day it's becoming worse. There are more OAGs out there than kikeniggerfaggots. We just need to get together. And that's what they don't want to happen. They can win the battle, but at the end we will win the war.

I've had a pretty comfy Christmas day with my mother and her guests. But still in disbelief that both OAG and Voat shutdown so close after each other.

Pretty nutty how the internet turned into reality 2.0

Looks like Sam Hyde struck again yesterday. He just can't keep getting away with it! https://files.catbox.moe/aggqr2.jpg

Aether sounds really really neat.

e should seriously setup OAG there too, survive on Poal for discussions, and use Aether for boner culture games, game reviews, and such and pics

anyone really literate in p2p wants to give Aether a look and give their two cents?

eg. how private it actually is etc.

Programmer here (but not an expert on security).

Aether is a floodnet, which means that when you post a message it sends the message to other users, and they also send the message to other users, so the message will very quickly "flood" through the network so that way everybody ends up with the same messages.

Since every user sends every message to every other user, you can't know whether you received the message from the original poster, or whether you received the message from somebody else who is forwarding it, so you can't know which IP address posted the message.

However, it takes time for the message to flood through the network. So if somebody (such as the government) controlled the majority of the network, they can simply figure out which computer sent out the message the earliest, and that's most likely the computer which posted the message.

But that only really works if Aether is small. Since the users are the network, the more people that use Aether the more secure it becomes. Hypothetically, if there were only 2 Aether users, it would be very easy to determine which of the 2 users posted the message. But if there are a million users, it becomes a lot harder.

Of course if you care about privacy at all (even a tiny bit) you should always use a VPN (ideally a non-pozzed one), and possibly Tor as well. Since it's possible to combine Aether with Tor, that would make it exceptionally hard (basically impossible) for somebody to track your IP address.

The biggest risk to privacy is going to be if you accidentally reveal your real identity (e.g. your e-mail address, or your name, or your username on a different site, etc.) So don't do that, be very careful to keep a strict separation between your shitpost accounts and your normal accounts. And if you use a VPN/Tor, make sure that it's always enabled, since Aether always runs in the background, so you need to remain secure 24/7.

BTW, is there an option for word wrap on Poal?

Poal has formatted your post so that the sentences continue well off of the screen for me.

since Aether always runs in the background

There's no way to turn it off?

It wraps for me, do you have some sort of custom styling or something? A browser extension, maybe?

There's no way to turn it off?

You can... but that defeats the point. It's P2P, like torrents. The posts aren't stored on a server, they're stored by regular people like you. So you are downloading posts from other people, and also sending posts to other people. So the network requires people to upload posts to others in order for it to work (just like torrents require seeders).

OAG Subverse plus traitor list. Should be all or at least the vast majority of it. Comments fully loaded. I encourage a virus scan for prudence. Might want to double check its completion to see if I got every article archived since I suck at making archives. In particular when shoddy teck is involved.

Recently I've been hanging out a lot on Aether (getaether.net). It's decentralized P2P (like torrents), so it cannot be shut down or censored, since the posts are stored by every user.

The UI is really nice, I like it a lot better than Poal or Voat. And it supports inline images (like Disqus or GraphComment).

When Voat went down, most people went to Poal but some went to Aether, so we've been spreading very spicy redpills.

Aether is news to me. Thanks.

Haha. Someone has blocked this page. What a faggot.

You know, thinking about it for myself, about a situation in which reasonable men like us are forced to do unreasonable things... I'm gonna get shit for thinking like this, but to tell you the truth, it actually terrifies me somewhat. Especially if it ever reaches a scenario where shit hits the fan.

At least I have a library of pictures like this to keep my mood up: https://img2.gelbooru.com/images/fb/bf/fbbf5c44be9adc5c11023b2cf0b02b61.jpeg

that's a perfectly reasonable and sane feeling to have, because it is a scary situation, and one we shouldn't even be near, but thanks to jews and niggers and nigger jew lovers, they're forcing it to happen.

im under no delusion that'd i'd even survive a shtf situation, lone wolves dont survive long, and i hate ppl and a lone wolf for as long as i can remember, i'll try prepare best i can but, im a realist im fucked when it does.

I'm in the same boat. Keep myself to myself as most people drive me nuts. I'm hoping that the tiny shoots of Nationalism in my country take hold. Trouble is they are mostly in the northern part of the country. I'm in the south surrounded by shitlib faggots.

Normally, I'd agree with you but people in general have disappointed me so much this year that I may want to do unreasonable things. Throw in losing my job and and not being prepared enough for the eventual society collapse and you got someone who's near the point of nihilism. The fact that there are so many morons who choose to dehumanize theirselves with face-coverings and soon the vaccine is just gonna make some really extreme choices much easier.
