I cook a main and a good side like salsa or homemade chips but leave early enough not to be forced to take leftovers

best is if they need paper plates or utensils or cups, so they are a good "take home" lol

This is true. Women love these things, they get to show off their 'special' dish ... most men are like me, I'll bring the chips - LOL.

Your paper plates, etc is a good idea though, wish i thought of that back when.
