Didn't tell anyone I was going to stop drinking because I wasn't sure I could. Been two weekends. I'm not an everyday drinker but I am certainly a weekend beer Binger. I didn't think there was a problem. I was informed that it was. I looked at my weekend angry post from here and confirmed. It wasn't hard to stop, I just feel like I'm missing something. Kinda like when I quit smoking. Anyway, thought I'd share.

You'll likely be tested 4-6 weeks after quitting. I remember quitting smoking and everything was fine until 4 weeks in and I just had an unexpected urge to buy a pack of smokes and light one up. If you can past that, then you should be fine.

Wait, I've never smoked as a habit and I have the urge to grab a pack every couple of months. (It's usually just a passing thing, and my wife has a much harder time putting them down, so I don't. If I buy a pack, she'll smoke 3/4 of it, and then it will be a few weeks of her quitting again. Thankfully I don't binge the booze much anymore, which often brought a pack along with it, especially if there was a machine at the bar.)
