Not the best list in the world. The Necronomicon doesn't exist. The 6th and 7th Books of Moses are for superstitious people who don't understand magic. The Book of Shadows is not a grimoire as such, but a personal record of witchcraft, a sort of witch diary. The Magus is not a grimoire, but a collection of works on magic plagiarized by Francis Barrett from different sources, foremost among them the Three Books of Occult Philosophy by Agrippa. The Red Dragon and the Little Albert are fun little texts created by French publishers in the 18th century to make money from the ignorance of book buyers. I will list my top ten grimoires:
- Picatrix
- Greater Key of Solomon
- Book of the Sacred Magic of Abra-melin the Mage
- Goetia
- 4th Book of Agrippa
- Heptameron
- Arbatel
- Sword of Moses
- Grand Grimoire
- Grimoire of Honorius
